For some odd reason when i tried to start TSL an error came up that said improper installation or re-install game. Ive been playing this game since it came out and i never had this problem. I had the ultimate saber mod, sith armor mod, and KSE enabled. Iam running this on windows XP.Please Help.
The base game-installation is not related to mods in order to be able to start, seeing as the override is either not created at the finish, or is simply empty (I do not exclude the possibility it's because of mods). First, try moving all of your mod files to your desktop temporary and see if it works. If it doesn't, your mods are not causing problems. On the other hand, however, it could be that you've accidentally deleted some base-installation files, such as important *.dll files?

Because there are, I believe, three files installed there.
That's temporarily, until the installation is finished. They will be removed automatically if installed properly.
I moved the mods and the same thing happened. The only thing i did before this happened is i added this line GUIsInScreenShot=0 under the Graphics Options in the swkotor2 file. Thanks for the help.
Alright, try updating your drivers to it's latest version (all that are not up-to-date) and see what happens. Edit: and also, try editing that line back to "GUIsInScreenShot=1". Not that it helps much, but you never know!
All drivers are up to date. I did try to add a 1 to the end of it. I am just going to reinstall the game and see if it dose it again.
I'll post if it happens. Thank you very much for the help.
Edit: I am of deleted some files when i was deleting some screen shots that i had taken.

Begging your pardon, they're not being removed...
Never have been. (And I have installed the game literally dozens of times already )
And I distinctly remember I had to reinstall on two occasions because I had forgotten about them and just deleted all the innards of my dear override...
But never mind. As long as it functions properly, I'm good.
Pardon? So you mean you've deleted important files? If that's the case, a re-installation of the game would be needed, or, if you know the exact files, open/explore your disc and copy-paste them back into the correct folders.
Edit: @Zipacna. Whenever I've installed my KOTOR games, I noticed these were mere temporary files and were removed after it had registered the product / finished the installation. Uhm, I don't have a German version, so I don't know about that. Could you tell me the file names that are in override by default in your version? I always had to create a manual override.
