Default game not working, unable to update.

Hello.
First of all, the game is an original copy.
When im launching KOTOR2, after all the logos disappear and the game menu should appear, the game crash.
A friend told me that an update should fix that problem but i cant complete the update. an error message says:

I tried different types of patches, none works.
I beg your help, you are my only hope.

Alright. Have you installed KOTOR II for the first time or is this the second time?

If this is your second install, try to to relocate the old file, or even the one which has the same name?

If it's your first time, I'd suggest trying to throw off all your unnecessary temporary files which are located in the temporary folder.

If that doesn't help either, you should contact the support team.

its the second time.
so, for "just in case", should i delete the game and try locating any KOTOR2 files?
(after that, installing the patch should solve my problem?)

I expected that. Yes, you should try to uninstall KOTOR II completely, before reinstalling. And yes, you should try to relocate and delete any other remaining folders of KOTOR II - that is, if there are any left.

It should yes, if you have uninstalled all the files correctly, as well as for reinstalling it correctly.

Sorry, can't help you there then...
Strange though, never heard about such an error before. I suggest you should contact the support team of Obsidian or LA.
