| Wounds heal. Besides, the best way to tell a person's age is by looking at their face. When you wear a helmet, you aren't likely to get cut on the face. Mandalorians wear those things for a reason, you know. |

| [quote=JCarter426;4244993]Wounds heal. Besides, the best way to tell a person's age is by looking at their face. That's not true. Have you ever bounced at a night club or worked security? I have. And I can tell you that judging a person's age just by examining their face is not as easy as you think, JCarter. And I don't care what the guy you keep quoting as your definitive source says Kreia's age is. She's closer to 70 than 50. Period. The Force can help you slow your aging, but she is worn. Age does that. Proof? Look at Yoda in action in EP II and EP III. He might hobble around and what not, but once he lets the force flow through him during combat, he moves like no one, despite his age. She's old, dude. I think you've been fed some disinformation. She's got to be 70.

| So Mr Avellone was the lead developer of the game. Good for him. The quote you gave of him stating her age is at best, his opinion, not canon. If we want canon, we need to ask Lucas. Of course, he doesn't care. I think that the community here at large would agree with me that she looks closer to 70 than 50. Examining faces is not the best way to profile age. As a security employee, I worked with professional law enforcement people that moonlighted as bouncers and coolers. I can assure you, that going by a person's facial features is never the best way to determine age. Guestimation is like almost. Only good in horseshoes and handgrenades. I do not see 50 years of age in Kreia. I see 60 or 70. HOWEVER, if I had to make an educated guess from her stance, features, voice, language pattern and her relationships (I was trained to do this) I would place her age between 62 and 70 years of age. MY professional opinion. The powers of the Force have never been fully explored by either philosophy, Jedi or Sith. The full extent of the abilities of a Force user are uncataloged. So Sion can heal himself with obvious visual side effects. Yoda can perform like a Hungarian acrobat. It's relevant insomuch as each Force user adapts the power of the Force to their needs. Perhaps Kreia is 50. But why would she use the Force to look older as she obviously does. My mother didn't look as aged as her at 50. What is Mr. Avellone's explanation for her obvious sullen and worn look? A bad diet of Corellian Ale and Sand People rations? Krayt dragon meat? Her face looks like a Rand-McNally road map. Believe nothing of what you hear and only half of what you read. Why take the word of one person? What do the other developers guestimate Kreia's age to be? How about George Lucas? How about the president of Obsidian? Have you read what they think? I say she looks 70, that's who. It's my opinion. And the opinion of hundreds of other gamers, I'm sure. She looks like my grandma. All I'm saying is that I formulate my opinions off of observation, not what someone wants me to believe or what someone gives as a range of age. Besides, this is all for S&G's. Don't be so serious.

| ok. ok. I went back and re-read your posting on Mr. Avellone's statements. He says she "looks 50, but like Yoda who knows." He doesn't give a definite age, JCarter. His best gues is 50. They probably sat around the meeting room and bounced ages back forth off the walls until someone finally said make her look 50-ish or older. However, if you think Kreia looks fifty, then you need glasses. But the point is is that we don't know how old Kreia really is. That's fine. But I think many on the forums would agree with me on speculating her age to be closer to 70. That's all, my man.

At least 10-20 years older. My view on Mr Avellone's statement about Kreia's age leans more toward here being older than she appears. However, diet, life in general, genetics..... these things can be deciding factors in how old/young a person looks. I've seen people who look much older than they are, whilst others who don't look their age. Of course, there are also those who look about as old as they are. |

| See, I don't think she even looks much older than fifty, not if you take into consideration that her only signs of aging are a few wrinkles. The white hair and white eyes are completely irrelevant, and can easily through off estimations. The other thing to keep in mind is that Kreia was meant to serve as a mother figure for the Exile, not a grandmother figure. So at the most she's in her early 60s. |

| 60-65 sounds about right. I just don't see someone who's 50 talking in the way that she does...
