Im sure she did...

No, they've become that way due to lack of use, when she chose to see through the Force, rather than with her eyes. It's not because of age.

And now the KOTOR Comics are trying to explain it by having Kreia be half Miraluka.

Omfg!

I am so glad I don't bother getting the KoTOR comics, that way I help save myself the trouble of saying outloud "Oh my f*****g god!" and hanging my head in shame.

KoTOR Comic rep at Lucas Licencing meeting.
Comic guy- "Hey, we have an idea for Kreia!"

LLC guy- "Who?"

Comic guy- "The blind old woman in that KoTOR sequel......"

LLC guy- "Oh, her..... What's the idea?"

Comic guy- "Let's help explain her blindness by her being part Miraluka!"

LLC guy- "Half what?"

Comic guy- "Those people with no eyes that see through the Force......"

LLC guy- "Ah, got ya. Sure, whatever."

Comic guy- "Thanks. Afterward we want to try and explain a few things that we would have like to have been in KoTOR 2, and link them to the first game through our comics.
Whaddya think?"

LLC guy (Serious look on face)- "We don't talk about that 'round here..... it didn't happen on our end."

Comic guy- "But that'll leave a lot of questions and theories unanswered!"

LLC guy- "It did not happen, just make the comic, make it good, make us money."

The final part is probably how they've gone about with many things Star Wars related for some time now.
F**k I'm sounding more and more cynical of all things Lucas corporate related lately

The comics are good, actually, though they do make me angry sometimes. The craziness doesn't start until Volume 3, so at least the first two are worth reading.

About Kreia...they haven't revealed it yet, but I'm 75% sure that the character Krynda Draay (who is half Miraluka) is supposed to be Kreia (and her son Lucien is Sion).

If it does turn out that way, then that means she's not Arren Kae.

Indeed it does, which is probably why Mr Avellone can't comment on the situation. It doesn't, however, mean that Kreia wasn't intended to be Kae in the game (again, that's what Mr Avellone's comment suggests).

And the other 25%? (Curious)
