Would it be possible to make a mod where you have a robe that when you wear it you can open up a GUI then click on Replace Party Member then it goes to a different menu saying "Which party member would you like to replace?"then you can click on any CURRENT Member of your group then just create a new player(an exile character)Like how you can start a new game and make your character. If this is possible can anyone make this.Sorry if I dont have it in the right section.

I may be misunderstanding what you are asking, but do you mean completely rebuild from scratch a companion character, like Atton for example? With a mod or the Save Game Editor, you can change the character’s appearance and even the name, but the voice and dialog would remain.

No matter the name or appearance, the same voices still speaking the same dialog would make them not truly a different character at all. Although, being able to travel with Mission and Zaalbar again is certainly welcome Even if Mission does simply use Mira’s voice and dialog, I am glad to be able to have Mission with me.

If you wish to truly build a new character entirely, you would have to know how to write entirely new dialog, then record entirely new voice-overs, and link them to the new character. There are a few very talented modders, which do exactly that, like Inyri Forge’s Recruitable Kay. (for K1 only)

As for replacing an already-existing character, that is something that the game engine forces you to do. The only way around this is to make a puppet script, like Bao-Dur’s remote, giving (returning) Cati to Mandalore, or Zaalbar. The problem is that you can only add one additional puppet script. Any more, and will have to choose which one you wish to use on this play-through.

The heads can all be switched using the Save Game Editor. There, you have access to ALL of the heads.

The puppet scripts are above my expertise, but Kyrillix surely would have some words of wisdom to share.
