Actually, Wikipedia's stuff is just cliff notes of Wookieepedia's stuff, and it's often inaccurate because there aren't as many users who care about fixing every minor detail on Wiki than there are on Wookiee.

Actually, I think there are more on Wiki. But there's more stuff on Wiki so they're more spread out and with some of the fanwars going on (Star Trek/Star Wars) they probably don't care about updating.
Regarding that fanwar, I'm neutral. I support both sides as I see fit. But forget about that or we'll go way off-topic.

Well, I can tell you this much, the wookiepedia is the single greatest source I have found. Considering it mostly refers to actual recognized data and sources; of course, there are inconsistencies and discrepancy, but any multi-source deals on those to some extent. Once again, I accept only the facts which are clearly stated, sustained, and follow in-universe logic. To date, I have only found a single concept in the wookiepedia which seems contradictory, the rest are contradictory from the very source. The remarks on it being written by fans seem intrascendental to me; I don't care who writes what, as long as the work is coherent and adequates to the previously mentioned criteria.
I read the Unnoficial Encyclopedia, most of the old comics and novels, and have found no evidence of biased information in the site. I mean, they even have little alert signs on dubious content...
You can trust the wookiepedia as far as you can trust any other recognized source, including George Lucas, who in more than one ocassion has been known to be biased to his very own characters.
Oh, while I don't trust Wookiee 100%, I trust it more than Mr Lucas, I can assure you. :lol:
The problem I have is that there are blatant mistakes on Wookieepedia, and there are constant wars going on, and perhaps I should just stop there, so as not to offend anyone.

Joking aside, Wookieepedia (and some parts of Wiki) are constantly undergoing changes in their SW related content.
Both from the "Editing Wars", and the changes in canon.
That's why, like all those who have said so in this thread and others, always check the source of the information.
Afterall, it took a long time before the length of a Super Star Destroyer was set to a standard, canon measurement.
