Chris Avellone said she might be around 50, but it's not known for sure. It was just something to further the mystique surrounding her life. As for the main "evidence" of Kreia being Arren Kae...... The game has alot of conflicting things throughout the dialog that weren't sorted. Best example: Characters referring to Revan's gender as being opposite from what the player decides at the beginning - Player says male, Carth says female. Unfortunately there's evidence for both points of view about the whole Kreia/Arren Kae thing. However, as you said, back on topic. The way I see it, is that with Mira's parentage being brought up in game shows the possibility that it may have been something they wanted to explore in the game, or in a sequel (or maybe even an alternate media based spin off of sorts). |
Re: Mira's father (spoliers) Definitely. At this point, Kreia's suggestion of Mira's "predator" father hint at an unknown character, possibly discarded from TSL at last minute, or expected to appear in later media works. As for Kreia being Arren Kae... there's enough evidence to sustain it... as there's enough evidence to deny it. For instance, when Kreia faces the council on Dantooine, Vrook Lamar states he expected her to have died in the Mandalorian Wars. Until then, Kreia's participation in the Mandalorian Wars was completely unknown, but Vrook's remark is consistent with Arren Kae being Revan's last master. However, such evidence could be refuted by the fact Kreia would have mated Yusanis, given birth to Brianna Kae, and followed Revan out of a supposed romantic interest. This, as unbelievable as it may sound, would furtherly be incredible if we add the fact Traya never shows a sentimental reaction to the handmaiden, nor speaks of Yusanis. |

Re: Mira's father (spoliers) :clueless: Well, Mr Avellone's word might not be canon, but it's the closest we've got. |

Re: Mira's father (spoliers) Well, Kreia was probably modelled after the voice actress, who was 63 at the time. |
Re: Mira's father (spoliers) If they wanted her to be younger, they should have (a) found a younger voice actress and (b) made a younger-looking model. My only point here is saying she's 50 when everything else suggests otherwise makes them sound like idiots. =p |
Re: Mira's father (spoliers) Yeah... |
Re: Mira's father (spoliers) "an immensely powerful predator of life" Wookiepedia's description of Darth Nihilus. Cough!! Cough!! Furtherly furtherizing my theory on Nihilus being obcenely powerful and obcenely addequate to being Mira's father. :nodding: |
Re: Mira's father (spoliers) Wikipedia can't be trusted on many things. Those pages you see on wiki are made by people that are no more fans than we are. They're liable to get as many things wrong as we are if one of us wrote it. |
