I am having the strangest problem with my KOTOR game that I can't find a fix for ANYWHERE! When I am on board Malak's flagship and you meet him he puts your friends into a force stasis, you remember that right? Well after you defeat him Bastila and Carth STAY IN THE FORCE STASIS! this is infuriating. I have played through multiple times to see if this bug would correct it's self but it never does, I have never gotten to the end...... always stopped there.
So I guess what I am asking is if somebody has seen this problem and fixed it or they could just give me some troubleshooting options. I also thought that maybe there could be a way to skip being on the Leviathan and I wouldn't encounter the bug....... I have the same gave editor but I really don't want to play through again if it is going to fail.
It may be a compatibility problem so here are my specs
Windows 7
2.31 Ghz AMD phenom I
Nvidia 9800 GT (1 GB video memory)
4 GB memory
Any help would be greatly appreciated. Even if it does not solve the problem........ I will be closer than I was before
No I do not have any mods installed what so ever, I have never altered the game and even if I did I have reinstalled it multiple times to try and solve the problem......... but I always end up with the same result.

Alright I figured it out for myself...... If anybody has this problem (which apparently nobody does)
1). Get the savegame editor
2). Give your character a really high security skill (99)
3). After the initial fight with Malak just open up all the security doors around him. Eventually the next part will start.
Perhaps this will help somebody out there....... perhaps not but I am just glad it's over. HURRAH FOR CHEATING!

As far as I know, that's actually part of the game. You're the only one left while the other two are in stasis, and you have to go through a maze of doors to get to Malak. Not a bug from what I can remember.
