Re: Folders in override?

You might have misunderstood. If the mods use a TSLPatcher, or contain a *.2da file, it should be in the main override, not a sub-folder. Why? Because if you use multiple mods, whereas one or mutiple of them require the *.2da file to be patched, it'll fail if you don't have it in your main override folder. Depending from mod to mod, some can be put in sub-folders, and some cannot. Best would be to read the README to see if the author has written anything in regards to this, or contact the author himself in order to ask whether you can put his files in sub-folders or not.

Also, there is a possibility of putting files in a folder in override, but not a sub-folder in a folder which is in override (ie. SWKOTORDIRECTORY/Override/modfolder/anotherfolder). That would either crash the game, or cause conflicts that are annoying as hell. Perhaps even cause the mods to stop working.

Also, if you're new to mods and the such and like to use multiple mods, I recommend getting the KOTOR Mod Manager, which can be found in my FAQ.

My suggestion would be to use the handy management tool, known as the "Kotor Mod Manager". It keeps your mods in-check and warns you whenever a file is about to be replaced, or conflicts. You can download the KOTOR Mod Manager HERE.

Hope that helps you.
