Assets0 is corrupt
 

Hi,

I installed lion so the installer does not work. For some reason, the base folder was deleted but I managed to salvage assets 1, 2, and 3 from disc one's base folder but Disc 2 is scratched so when I can't get assets 0from it. Is there a way I could download it? I wouldn't consider it pirating.

Not without breaking the copyright law. Downloading any of the assets files = pirating.

A purchase from Steam or a similar service would certainly prevent any further physical media problems.

My advice is to wait it out a little before buying anything from Steam, though.

Lately, there have been several small updates to games lately that the developers have said nothing about. This very same thing happened last year and it turned out to all be preparation for the prize booth summer sale event, so I figure that if it's happening again then it means another sale is probably not too far off.

The Jedi Knight Collection has been discounted by 50% in every Steam sale since it was released, so if you wait, you can most likely grab the entire series at a knock-down price.
