Problem starting Jedi Academy Hello, my mate has a problem when he tries to launch Jedi Academy. He gets this error Spoiler: His computer passes the test given on the Jedi Academy CD. He also has the required DirectX version on his computer. Finally, his graphics card (ATI Radeon 9600XT) is updated to the latest driver available. Here's his computer configuration *OS : Windows XP Pro *Processor : Athlon AMD Thoroughbred 2600+ 2.13Ghz (FSB 333) *Memory : 512Mo DDR 333 Mhz PC-2700 Major *Motherboard : MSI MSI KT4 VL (MS-6712-050, KT400) *Graphics Card : ATI Radeon 9600XT |

I googled briefly and it seems this is a common problem with Radeon 9600's, but I didn't seen any solid solutions. There was one recommendation to reinstall the drivers completely and another that suggested that perhaps the new drivers were too new and that the OP should try rolling back to some older drivers. You can try those solutions, but you also may want to do a more thorough google search than I did. I couldn't rationalize looking too hard since I'm not the one having the problem. |
Re: Problem starting Jedi Academy Roll back driver! That what I was trying to say. Sorry for my English :P |
