Stupider Question

Some commands I have been trying to use in MP say I need a higher admin rank, how do I change my rank?

Re: Stupider Question

Hmm, what mod are you playing on when it says that?

JA+

Re: Stupider Question

On JA+ there are 3 levels of admin and rcon.

If it's your own server then you can set what each level does via the bitrate calculator here:
JA+ Mod For JEDI KNIGHT ACADEMY by Slider

If you're on another server, you can't access those commands unless you are granted an admin level which can use those commands.

Re: Stupider Question

It says the command is jp_(council,master or instructor) and then a number. How do I set myself to one of those ranks?

Re: Stupider Question

Well in your server.cfg file, find these:

seta jp_instructorAllowedCMD ""
seta jp_knightAllowedCMD ""
seta jp_councilAllowedCMD ""

And set the values to what you want on the calculator.

For example, on (JAWA) our numbers are:

seta jp_instructorAllowedCMD "157031930"
seta jp_knightAllowedCMD "257826814"
seta jp_councilAllowedCMD "1073717246"

Save your server.cfg file and simply restart your server or do exec server.cfg in rcon.

Re: Stupider Question

So then how do I login as an admin? or am I missing something obvious?

Re: Stupider Question

/amlogin PasswordHere

The passwords are also located in the server.cfg file, look for:

seta jp_councilPass ""
seta jp_knightPass ""
seta jp_instructorPass ""

And change the passwords, then restart/exec the server file.
