Setting up an internet sever

I need help i want it to be movie battles 2 and it will run of my home pc and i want to know how do i set it up and just going into JK3 and load MB2 and running it dedicated for the internet just doesn't work for me. So if anyone could help i would like some guides on like doing with a siemens speerstream modem and its on vista i can get it to work on lan with a bat file just wont show up on the internet. Oh and i need some help finding out my ip or what the ip of my sever will be? thanks i hope someone can help.
