help with mapping (end cap) and 1 other

this might be simple problem for you mappers to answer, not sure.
the first problem is with end capping, is there a way to make all of the sides visible? if you don't know what i mean take a look at the photos.the first one shows a normal highlighted rectangle. the next shows what happens when i use end-cap



the second problem is that I don't know how to make models (such as map objects) into a solid (so players wont go through it)

#1. Copy the curve/patch again, and press CTRL + I. That will invert the see able side.

#2. Go into the system texture folder, and select Physics_clip. Make the clip brush over your model.

So, if I had a Tie_Fighter, I would make the clip in the shape of a Tie Fighter.

yeaha, the game has no command to generate collision mesh from the model, so You needa block it out in radiant...kinda sucks, actually.
