help with mapping (end cap) and 1 other this might be simple problem for you mappers to answer, not sure. the first problem is with end capping, is there a way to make all of the sides visible? if you don't know what i mean take a look at the photos.the first one shows a normal highlighted rectangle. the next shows what happens when i use end-cap http://img404.imageshack.us/img404/1999/error1vt4.jpghttp://img453.imageshack.us/img453/332/error2gs6.jpg the second problem is that I don't know how to make models (such as map objects) into a solid (so players wont go through it) |
#1. Copy the curve/patch again, and press CTRL + I. That will invert the see able side. #2. Go into the system texture folder, and select Physics_clip. Make the clip brush over your model. So, if I had a Tie_Fighter, I would make the clip in the shape of a Tie Fighter. |
yeaha, the game has no command to generate collision mesh from the model, so You needa block it out in radiant...kinda sucks, actually. |
