Installing issues
 

problem is, when i try installing gets to around 29% and this message comes up:(
"Component: Game 1
File Group: Game 1 Files
File: E:\gamedata\gamedata\base\assest0.pk3
Error: data error (cyclic redundancy check)."

i dont understand what it means. any 1 know what i should do to make it install :confused: :confused: :confused:

You have a fully legit and legal copy of the game?

yes i have.iv had it since it first come out.but played on my old computer.but uninstalled it on there..now trying on here wont work :(

This error seems to be coming from the install CD (assuming E is your cd drive)

have you cleaned the CD, is it scratched at all?

nope...its been in the case...

btw...do you play Garry's mod 9?

and any idea on jk3?

Have you tried installing on a different computer, to see if it is the disc and not the comp.

I play GMOD 10, but only on occasion

well....i aint got another computer.i only have one.
all my friends dont live near. and my step dad's comp is 25 miles from my house >.<

was you on Garrys mod 9 yesterday...and do you remeber boulder
