Circumventing the game's copy protection via any method is illegal, and is classed as warez - something forbidden by the forum guidelines as well as the game's End User License Agreement (this goes for all your other games too). Either run it all nice and legit, or go ask on some other forum for support, because warez and all discussion of it is against the rules anywhere on GamingForums.
Besides, the method you described above for circumventing copy protection is probably causing the problem. I had a similar issue when installing UT2004 (although I never bypassed the game's copy protection - merely used virtual versions of four of the discs because I only had one CD drive at the time and it was six CDs), and I found that as I restarted after the install was complete, right before I got rid of the virtual discs, they all popped up in Windows Explorer.
So, stop using virtual drives (let's face it, they just suck, and with the space you waste on them you could install more games), and your problem should be fixed. |
