JA wont connect to a server
 

When i try to join a server (i can get to server selection just fine), my game freezes, my computer makes a buzzing noise, and i have to pull up the task manager to exit out

"You are trying to quit a non-responsive program, Jedi Academy MultiPlayer"
is teh box that comes up.

Any ideas?

Computer makes a buzzing noise???? Does it come from the speakers, or from the unit itself? If it comes from the speakers, I'm not sure what's wrong. But if it comes from your computer, get it serviced as soon as you can - sounds like some failure, like a fan.

Well...i fixed it by reinstalling.
but its back again
the noise is comming from the disk drive...

Then your disc drive may be damaged or be experiencing a drivers/compatibility issue.

The most likely scenario is that it's just a noisy mofo, though, and your Jedi Academy error was unrelated.

Reinstall JKA entirely. Thats what I did
