GLW_StartOpenGL() - could not load OpenGL subsystem

i keep getting this problem,this is tarn, and i appreciate any help i get. it keeps saying:

...unloading OpenGL DLL
----- CL_Shutdown -----
-----------------------
GLW_StartOpenGL() - could not load OpenGL subsystem

-------------------------------------------------------------

the problem is it wont load the openGLsubsystem... any ideas how to fix?

Make sure OpenGL is up to date, including your drivers. Update your graphics card drivers too.

If you're using an nVidia card, the latest Forceware drivers don't seem to have innate OpenGL support.
