Re: My Paid For Game Server Is Not Writing A Games.log!!! A nice note from Jolt support staff: you have full access and i dont really know what your problem is.. logs are in the hidden folder .ja on your FTP where they always go. How can you not be happy with us when you just dont know where to look? forums and stuff tend to tell you things by people that guess and you'll get the wrong information which is what sounds like has been happening. If you want advice ask us, not other people like yourself. You need to learn to admin your server correctly and it will save you a lot of hassle so when you need info just ask us!I did the following with my FTP client: [16:28:07] 550 Can't change directory to /ja: No such file or directory Looks like what there telling me is BS I am no longer going to be a jolt customer they SUCK   DoC |
Re: My Paid For Game Server Is Not Writing A Games.log!!! I remember when I had a server with Jediservers.com the logs also ended up in a hidden folder (.ja) that I didn't have access to. I had to ask them to create a symlink (like a Shortcut in Windows or an Alias in Mac OS) so I could access my logs. At escapedturkey.com the logs end up in the base folder if running basejka or in the mod folder if running a mod. And that's under Linux, so it is possible with Linux servers. |
