Screen won't fit

I have an Aquos 21" Display running my Xbox and My PC, i try playing game slike Halo, BF1942, or Elite Force2 but most importantly, JK3. It only runs 640 by 480 and 1024 by 768, running HDTV. I have a Geforce FX 5200 and my PPC is good enough to run the game, i can hear it but cant see it.

Is there a patch or fix for this issue, i dont think i'm the only one with this problem.
