Re: WIP: Seifer/Cifer Almasy I have Max, was going to make him one, luckily all I got done yesterday was the blade otherwise I'd be £$##*% right about now! That blade looks kinda like you used the home made gunblade picture posted early...really should have its own texture, gunblades are far smoother than that home-made one. |
Re: WIP: Seifer/Cifer Almasy well yours doesn't look bad, gameking, but it's too short! i'll do that textureing myself, don't worry lets see what you'll do, wade P.s.: you don't need 3dsmax to make hilts, you can just save them as md3 and then export them with md3 viewer to glm as they don't have a skeleton. it's just the model, tag_flash and parent_flash as triangles, then save it as md3 then open it up with md3 viewer and export it as glm |
Re: WIP: Seifer/Cifer Almasy OMG I'm posting in a 5 day old thread this is gonna get closed!!!!....Wait this isn't Raven forums, :p Anyhow it's totally on topic. Below is my current WIP, Seifer's gunblade as promised to Raitenks. The only thing in this pic to really take note of is the blade, the handle is the same as the one of my gunblade for Squall; Seifer's blade handle looks very much more like a standard fire-arm so I'll get that done later today or tomorrow. Seifer's blade most of the time appears dark but has a very high specularity level so the reason the blade looks like this is because of a specular map (which of course works in JA), without light it appear much darker. Re: WIP: Seifer/Cifer Almasy so, my work is *kinda* done, so here you go, final shots. (everything done except shaders) Cifer: official-screen i added final details like the shoulder armor, detailed cross on the arms, better scar+face; corrected some texture-not-maching-tone-bugs, added more realisitc light reflexions to the neckless, more detailed button on the bottom of the coat and metal caps on the shoes.....well, the little things, you see. now, when wade finished the hyperion (hilt) it will be released, together with new voice, of course P.S.: 'scuse double posting.... :rolleyes: |
Re: WIP: Seifer/Cifer Almasy *bump* alrite, maybe the word *final* was a bit tooo brash. let's just say, the certainly will be a smaller or bigger graphical update to the skin, as i have more time now. that's just because wade's busy with other projects, so it will be released maybe after christmas. |
