I downloaded the JK2Radiant and the GTK. I know how to work the JK2Radiant, very little. I don't know how to make it that there not more than one and the maps are a little hard to understand. And I don't understand what GTK. and how is my map going to work in jk3 but it a jk2 ediader.and how do I use the map I save a demo map( for practice.) and its not comeing up. |
Re: Re: Re: Someone Please!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Got it thanks GothiX, I used GTK when I mapped for sof2 and didn't really care for it, thats why I stayed away from it... Q3map2 is nice, alot faster.. Got a test map to work in JA with all textures and such. Had to move the textures folder into the GTK dir for it to look right in JA tho... |
Re: Someone Please!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Kurt, Radiant is easy. You just need to keep at it. And compile your maps, else you can't play them. For a good example what GTK can do in JA,look in my thread here, link:http://www.gamingforums.com/showthread.php?t=92052 .If you really want to compare this to SOF2MAP, i suppose I could compile it with that one too. I don't feel like it though, takes me ages. And if you install GTK in your JA directory, you can easily use all the textures and shaders. |
