Jose did release his model. I don't remember those being in it though. His thread was titled something like "my damn unicorn."

Re: Where can i find these models?

Nope and can't remember.
You'll just have to look through the models section. Unless the author search is working.

Then nope. I'm out of ideas.

*in the shadows, something stirs and out walks an ancient legend of mystery and awesomeness*

BEHOLD! For I have returned!

*ahem*

To tell you the truth, the model's in a strange place right now. What's going on with it is that it has a separate animations file and that's taking me ages to do without a properly featured animating program. The models, the textures, all that pretty jazz is done. Unfortunately, time is not on my side right now, so it's going up on JKFiles and JKHub tomorrow, if not later today. There's a bitchin' lightsaber hilt that I want to add.

Re: Where can i find these models?

What exactly are you trying to do animation wise?

Dunno if you noticed Jose but the whole community has moved...

Jose Carlos February 7th, 2013 07:05 AM

Re: Where can i find these models?

Yeah, I've noticed, but nostalgia won out and figured I'd check this corner of the internets again.

Basically what I did was create new attack animations for the medium style, new jumps and runs, new stances for all but the staff, new blocks, some new Force power animations, modified rolls and walks and some simpler animation replacements. I'm using Dragon, so when a sequence doesn't work out in-game, then it's basically back to zero with it. There are a few more things I'd like to do, such as replace the rolls entirely, but I haven't the time for it.

Re: Where can i find these models?

Before you release it you should paint in extra pixels on the center mirror line of the face, there's a visible black line in the first screenshot, while not a major issue, it would just make my OCD go away ;).

Re: Where can i find these models?

Will you be offering a version with and without animations?

Jose Carlos February 7th, 2013 12:45 PM

Re: Where can i find these models?

There's two .glm files, one of which uses the modified animations and the other running with base animations. This way, you can choose the model for SP and still have the custom animations by using the playermodel command.

Good Guy Jose Carlos!

Re: Where can i find these models?

If you're interested after finishing a few things I could give you a beta of the Mod Tool biped rig. I had to remake it in Mod Tool since there was no way to transfer from the full version of Softimage and preserve all the controllers since you can't go backwards in versions.

It's basically the JA skeleton made of nulls constrained to a shadow rig, the shadow rig has all the JO bones that I'm hoping to add back into the game since they're in the source files. This will do for now though.

Jose Carlos February 9th, 2013 12:36 PM

Re: Where can i find these models?

Thanks, but it will be of little use to me. I'm a Max guy and learning to use a new program is unfortunately more than I have the time for. There's a Max 5 file with the JA skeleton waiting to be semi-properly rigged on a hard drive nearby. Though it'll be of similarly little use to anyone who has a newer version of Max.

Re: Where can i find these models?

Best thing would be to use Keshire's character studio biped if you're using max 5.

Re: Where can i find these models?

I think there were issues the last time I tried it. Compiling or merging or some sort of stupid little thing. But giving it another try can't hurt.
