Default Compiling questions

Just a few quick qestions about BSPing my map.
Ive looked but havnt got 100% my answer

Do all u just use the options under BSP in GTK? Or use a different program to compile ur map?

Also, ive seen about adding stuff like -lomem to it. How do i do that?

Q3Map2 GUI is your friend.

Also make use of the Q3Map2 Wiki, particularly the minor switches section.

You mean you can't find how to point the program to your maps folder? If that is what you mean, it is the little button with the folder icon in the top left corner. Where did you put the program? I find it's easiest to just drop the Q3Map2 GUI program folder in my maps folder.

Yes, that is what i ment. When i open the program, i get this error;

\maps
does not exist!
--
i click ok, i click the folder image. and when i go threw to find my maps folder, i get this error every time i open a new folder to get to it;
--
There is a bug in the house
Error: 76
Path not found

Subroutine: frmfolders.Dir 1_Change
--

I can can open to the maps file, but it never saves that Directory

I had the q3maps2GUI program folder on my desktop, I put it in my maps folder like u said and I get the same errors.

I dont understand why lol. I tried to post the pictures but it wont let me upload them for somereason, they meet the requiremnts of the fourm...

Also, when i click Build BSP when the folder is on my desktop, it works, when i do it when the folder is in my maps folder, it gives me an error....

Hmm, never seen that error before. Well, there is a similar program called Q3Map2 build. Maybe give that a try. It's very close to Q3Map2 GUI.

I figured out how to edit the bsp comand in GTk to i added the -lomem that i wanted.

Kind of weird, I havnt downloaded that second program you suggested yet, but when i Compile it with the first program, i get a Max_Edge error, but I dont get it when i compile it in GTk. Any idea why i would get it inQ3Map2 GUI?
