bindings

Dont know if this is the right place for this question so be nice to me ok guys?

I have yesterday used the bindlist command and I have see that the movement keys are listed as well.

I tried creating a bind that allowed me to use the katas without the need of the mouse... didnt succed.

Have anyone done something like that and if so can you explain to me how?

On an unrelated note, that's probably a good thing, just saying. A whole lot of scripted kata-tards is exactly what we need (just look at scripted kickflips in JK2...)

Oh, scripting that stuff works. You just need to do it in the right order. For instance "+attack; +altattack; wait 1; -altattack; -attack". That usually ends up with you just throwing your lightsaber, though. And it doesn't work while you're moving.

Dont know if I quite follow but how about (forgive me if I am wrong) "+attack; -attack; ; wait 1; +altattack; -altattack"?

Nope, same problem. Granted, I haven't tested it much, but it looks like the only way to fix the problem is to not put any points into saber throw.

Hmm I see you are talking about MP.

I am trying to use it into SP because I always fumble when trying to do the katas during a combat against the reborn.

Have you see this thread?

I found that interessing

Re: bindings

Found the solution I guess...

Try "+attack; wait 1; +altattack; -altattack;"

You need to add the ";" in the end so that the character dont keep doing the throw forever every time he gets 20 mana.

It work perfect in SP so I guess that MP is covered as well.

Next I will try to tweak it so that on command it stop the movement of the character the instant you use the kata. This way I guess you can activate it while moving because in a split second your movement commands where cancelled and the kata activated... wish me luck on that...

Re: bindings

Just write the command so that the first thing it does is stop all movement.

Re: bindings

Done it. add "-forward; -back; -moveleft; -moveright;" before the kata command. It work like I wished but there is a catch.

If you are moving, when you activate the macro, the character stop moving at all if you dont release for a split second the movement keys because the sequence that stop the movement stop the input of the movement keys while you are holding then down.

You only notices that if you are doing the fast stance kata because its the only kata that have full mobility when executed.

Mouse movement still works so the medium and strong katas are not affected at all.

So the final bind command would be like this:

"-forward; -back; -moveleft; -moveright; +attack; wait 1; +altattack; -altattack;"

If there is anything I missed please tell me.
