Everytime I edit anything in the strings folder in my mods nothing happens, it only works when it is is the BASE folder! How can I make my mod load my strings?

Well first, it'd be a good idea to actually ensure that your mod is being run.
Second, make sure that the pk3 hierarchy is correct (insert them in a .pk3 that comes after assetsX.pk3, alphabetically.)
Third, make sure that the file structure is correct. You put them in Strings/ENGLIGH and not just Strings/, yes?

This is a known problem with strings, they only load from the Base folder for some reason.
Tried naming the pk3 something like aaaaaaaassets.pk3 so it's named alphabetically before assetsX.pk3? Have you also tried not putting it into a pk3 at all and just letting it stay in your mod folder?

If that doesn't work... cue Raz0r.

Is that an MP problem? They work from mod folders in SP as long as the game is launched using the mod batch file.
