Hi to all of u. pls can u help me, cuz i want to make a guitar model of the ESP RZK-2 tht Richard Z. Kruspe use in the P***y video, and the guitar to be on the place of the saber like the fender and gibson les paul in the jk3filefront, after i exported the model with the texture on it as : esprzk2.md3 and open it with the MD3 Viewer it loads the guitar with the texture, but when i put the skin file the texture is gone or if even i don't put a skin file in the models/weapons2/esprzk2
after starting the game and type in the console : saber esprzk2
it give me the guitar with 2 warnigns the first one is :
WARNING: unknown keyword '
bounceSound3 ' while parsing 'esprzk2'

and under it there is again warning :

WARNING: Couldn't find image for shader D:/JKA/GameData/Base/ESP RZK-2 Burnt/neck.jpg.jpgjpg
WARNING: Couldn't find image for shader D:/JKA/GameData/Base/ESP RZK-2 Burnt/head.jpg.jpgjpg
WARNING: Couldn't find image for shader D:/JKA/GameData/Base/ESP RZK-2 Burnt/tuners_spec.jpg
WARNING: Couldn't find image for shader D:/JKA/GameData/Base/ESP RZK-2 Burnt/body_BLK.jpgjpg

PLS HELP !!!

Re: help with a saber/guitar

Post your *.skin file for the model. Based on the errors it sounds like it may be set up wrong.

If you don't have a *.skin file you should create one, apply it to the original *.md3, and recompile to GLM.

Re: help with a saber/guitar

well here is the skin file : esprzk2.skin :

body_BLK, models/weapons2/esprzk2/body_BLK.jpg
neck, models/weapons2/esprzk2/neck.jpg
head, models/weapons2/esprzk2/head.jpg
knobs, models/weapons2/esprzk2/knobs.jpg
tuners, models/weapons2/esprzk2/tuners_spec.jpg
tuners_spec, models/weapons2/esprzk2/tuners_spec.jpg
pickups_spec, models/weapons2/esprzk2//pickups_spec.jpg
pickups, models/weapons2/esprzk2/pickups_spec.jpg

P.S. i have moved it all to my desktop so to be easy for me not in the D:/ drive

Re: help with a saber/guitar

Do the textures exists in those paths in your PK3?

Edit: The extensions seem pretty screwed up based on the error message you posted. I would advise reapplying your skin file in md3view and exporting to GLM again and see if that fixes the problem.

well as all you have saw in the skin file, yes all the jpg images are in the models/weapons2/esprzk2 and in the pk3 file. the md3 is called : esprzk2.md3
skinfile : esprzk2.skin, it have : ext_data , models/weapons2/esprzk2 , shaders with esprzk2.shader and sound fold. with again : esprzk2 in it i think all is done right :uhm: , but i don't know why in the game after typeing : saber esprzk2 and when it text me the 2nd warning D:/JKA/GameData/Base/ESP RZK-2 Burnt/neck.jpg.jpgjpg <---- i don't know why in the game it shows me this warning with 3 time : jpg

Re: help with a saber/guitar

Did you apply the skin in md3view before you exported it to GLM, or did you just convert it straight away and put it in the PK3?

You might wanna change the texture a bit, those fret markers are freaking huge and some proportions are off.
