Default My project

So I am making a project that is a Roleplay model for myself onto a roleplay server I play on.

okay lets get to the pictures

Spoiler:
padawan without shirt
padawan with shirt
without shirt
with shirt

I plan to do caped one also tomorrow or during this night...

since I am first time making any kind of mod for JKA and I don't have any experience in rigging or uvw mapping or skinning it would be nice if someone could skin it and get it into game for me

Criticism is welcome (I left the model intentionally unsmoothed cause I didn't know way to make wireframe show on top the model)

if you can help contact me on xfire. username:Traixi

PS. Don't link me to master sticky.. I've read it.. if you do that you'll just be an A**

Rather than modeling the hair as 'chunks' do them as poly strips and use alpha layered textures, it'll reduce poly count and look better. What program are you using? Could easily tell you how to show the wires over shaded since I could give more crits on face structure and other tricky areas like the shoulders. Why so anti rigging/UV? You won't find anyone here that is willing to just do it for you since very few know it that well or want to stray from what they're already doing. The sad thing about few knowing how is that its just so freakin easy if you just take the time to learn.

Perfect chance to learn.

Also, you'll need XSI Mod Tool. It's free and perfectly capable of rigging and exporting JA models.

XSI mod tool free is only for 32 bit systems.. I already have it but I am running 64 bit system so it doesn't work
and Blender is capable of rigging too...

Well the thing is I don't think there even is a skeleton for blender and if someone does convert one over there's no telling if it can export to .xsi well enough for the carcass compiler to accept.

I'm with minilogoguy. Chunky hair doesn't ever look good. It's the mistake the guys over at Red Octane made when they worked on Guitar Hero 5/Band Hero. Same Engine.

World Tour's (GH4) hair looked better, because hair isn't reminescant to tentacles.

Take their suggesstion on this one. Chunky hair = crappy hair.

Applejack, why do you have to be so awesome?

I just did a google search though about 32 apps running on 64 OS' and it most likely will work. Have you tried it or just assumed?
