A skin/mod i need made

Hey. I'm new to the Jedi Academy thing but I have already gotten a few mods downloaded and I have to say they are really cool. like the survival mods. but anyway I am getting kind of frustrated with downloading skins just to find out they on't work for singleplayer. Single player is the only thing I can do without the game crashing so I was wondering if someone could help me with a mini-mod to make a new character available in the species select thing. i have Mandos and Commander cody but I really want a Omega squad commando. can someone make one for singleplayer?

my gosh I look away for 3 minutes and POW! anyway yeah i shuda probably said want but I lve commandos so yosh! I have tried to make one but i kinda suck at it. the helmet is always like 2x too big and his arm sometimes phases into the middle of his chest...

right...editing always makes it better =)

...ok new problem....my friend on yahoo told me how to fix the distortion problem but in the process I have turned he model completely white and now it just looks like wierd.
heres a screenshot. I use ModView.

my internet is crappy so it takes a while to upload so I will put it in an edit on this post

I lack enough technological brainpower to find out what is wrong but every time I open the model in mod view it shwos the error message ALOT!! then it pops up white

Make sure your .skin file is pointing to the correct paths.
Use base models as a reference.

....and how do I do tht....I had help to acctually get the model to look slightly commando like but my friend did most of the editing. I just try and put it together but I really suck..thus why I am on here asking for help.

See the .skin file in the folder?


Open it with notepad, then check and see if the folder name matches up with the paths.


EX:

folders name- commando

path-

deltacommando\head.tga
