What is the playerteam in the NPC file?

There are two playerteam fields, one for what team the NPC is, and one for team he attacks.

both are on my side....I thought I was supposed to put player in both

Make sure you set him up with this:

playerteam player
enemyteam enemy

Then he'll be friendly.

ok fixed him and thats good enough for now but now i have been given a task tht i just cant seem to complete. my friends that have formed a clan with me (Black Hawks) want a custom skin for SP and MP of a guy in black cargo pants with black boots with a black hoodie (hood down) black hair and red eyes with a red shoulder pad on the right side with a slightly grayish hawk symbol on it....first off I don't know how to make the model so I tried to test with a reborn but I can't get him to become black in photobucket. I tried following Bael's skinning tutorial but he uses stuff that I can't find.

Kill the hood completely, and the Dante model would be a somewhat close fit. Actually, it's quite similar to my reskin of the Dante model... But if you want it with the hood, there's no model that I can think of off the top of my head that's close enough...

he looks cool but I don't know if I can edit him to fit the standards...mainly because I really don't do hair that well.....and his hair is a lil different. plus I can't really use him without permission

Without permission? The model's author doesn't require his permission for any reskins, and my reskin of that model doesn't require it either. Admittedly, there are differences, but unless you make a brand new model, you're gonna have to deal with differences anyway.

Also, I doubt that someone's gonna make a brand new model for you... This community doesn't seem to do many requests at all anymore.

Photobucket doesn't have very good image-editing facilities... except rotating...
Maybe you'll have more luck editing the skins in photoshop or paint shop pro. =p

oops. I do that everytime. I ment photoshop. I don't know why I say photobucket. anyway the only way I can change the color is if I go to layer, new adjustment layer, color balance, then try and make it black or gray but it never comes out black or gray. as for the requests, yeah I just need some advice not someone makeing it now because I think I got the hang of it....except for hair...i still suck at that.

ok the model is for jedi outcast...will that be a problem if I try and put it in academy?
