I remember someone saying that the model has to be "reweighed". Does anyone know what that means?

About Envelopes

An envelope is an object or hierarchy that is assigned as a “skin” to a set of deformers such as IK chains. Envelopes move and deform in response to the movements of their deformers. In this way, for example, a character moves as you animate its skeleton.
Every point in an envelope is assigned to one or more deformers. For each point, weights control the relative influence of its deformers.
The process of setting up an envelope is sometimes called skinning or boning.

Meh I thought it would work but I guess not.

Reweighting the model with the old JK2 skeleton is the only way it will work in JK2.

This one has three different people like that now... I think I might move as many characters over as I can, see how that turns out... XD

Ok, now I don't wanna sound lazy, but I can't do the conversion myself, for a number of reasons. Does anyone wanna do it for me?

(It'd probably be a big hit if you released it on JKfiles... ;))

Why can't you do it yourself?

Re: Rosh to JKO

#1. Don't have the time, I've got one mod to finish, a story on Star Wars Fanon to finish and lots of RL projects. #2. I don't have the Rosh model, so some one would have to give me that anyway. #3. Alot of mod tools don't work on my computer. I have a 64-bit system (while nearly all other comps have 32-bit) and my Battlefront tools don't work and most of my JK tools don't either. I can do skinning and such but no mapping.

Edit:
Sorry to double-post, but if nobody is gonna do it can someone at least pakage up the Rosh model (sounds an shaders too) in a zip so I can try myself?

Edit:
Ok, I don't want to bump it any more so this will be the last time. Now, can someone just upload a zip with the Rosh model and sounds? I'll do the converting.
