General Plo-Koon (Clone Wars) Model Request!
 

Hi all,
it's ObiWanKenody again. In the house. W00t!=p

Since my team and I are always lurking around trying to create something interesting, I was wondering if someone from the modeller's world would be willing to help us with a new model of General Plo-Koon, like he was seen in the new animated tv series: The Clone Wars. (soon after the movie came out) Here's some reference:

Unfortunately I couldn't find any better ones, particulary ones where he is in a full-body shot, but I guess these will do for the rough-draft if not anything else. He looks exactly the same as if he was wearing his cloak/robe/cape stuff, but he isn't. I call it his sabering-suit for short.=p The only change I could find was that the wrist gauntlets were more "clone-ish" (white) and his clothes are a bit bluish-purplish?:Puzzled:

Oh, and before you ask, yes...it's for a movie. I'm always up for challanges, and this one will be worth it.:D I'm planning a Star Wars Episode III alternative to order 66, and make a few plot twists, while maintaining the time in the original storyline.:p However I don't wish to give any more info about it at this time. If you're interested, please let me know asap!:naughty:

firestormz its not the same, he doesnt have his armor nor a nearly as tight robe.

Anyways, no we don't want a cartoony Plo Koon -.-' If you're gonna ask for a 'General' Plo Koon at least ask for it to be realistic, in JKA terms.

That's what the 'Bose' skin I posted above is like. It uses the Kel'Dor head from JKA on a Jedi robed/armoured body.

I was browsing the boards and stumbled upon this thread.

I agree with Rex that there should be a more "realistic" version. I don't think cartoony will fly well here.

I found these images, I think these are what the original poster wanted. Correct me if I'm wrong of course.

I agree that the MB2 one is best one out there, but its still not what the thread is asking for ;o

I just checked out the Bose.pk3 and I must say, it isn't bad.;) (Thank you Kualan) Only thing I don't like about it is that the waist-part of the robe is too short. It seems longer and more loose in the clone wars, (and if you take look at that snapshot a few posts back you can see it goes all the way down to his knees/boots) but that longer robe is what we're really missing.:( The general-armour is mostly correct and in place in the Bose.pk3. Maybe we could modify that one, or... I dunno, what do you guys think?:uhm: I don't think the MBII Plo-Koon is going to make a nice replacement for what we saw in (NJO) Plo Koon's post. But thank you both, for these nice pieces of reference.:D

I don't know who the original creator is I'm afraid, so I don't know who we'd have to ask for permission >_<

Ah well then we'll just have to credit him for creating the model afterwards.:D I'm sure he/she wouldn't mind...=p But then again you're right. We don't have permission. I still think it would be okay to do so. Any takers?:uhm:
