Sound troubles

I recently made a new skin for the clan, and i was wanting new sounds for it, i asked someone, but all they told me is crap that i completely did not understand, so is there anyone that could help me, like a simple "noob" step- by-step process of how to do this please?

Re: Sound troubles

Look at how the default skins are made, and base your skin off of that. I can't help any further, since I don't skin. But it's not hard. I played with those things once.....I got it close to working right.

1. Open up notepad
2. Type in teh following
Code:

mistermouse[or w/e]
[put m here for male, or put an f for female]

The first line tells us where to find our sounds, and the second one tells us whether or not the other players will hear a male default sound or a female default sound if they don't have the skin. Long story short- It determines the gender of the skin.
3. Save this file as Sounds.cfg, and place it in the folder where ur clan skin is
[Example, models/players/genitour]
4. Now we need a soundset. This is composed of several different files. This must include-
*anger1
*anger2
*anger3

OPTIONAL-- Anything marked with a * is for NPCs

5. Assuming you have all these files, place them in the folder you indicated in step 2, thusly
sound/chars/mistermouse/misc
sound/chars/[Your Folder Here]/misc

6. Place in PK3 and roll out.

Re: Sound troubles

Some of those optional sounds Ful*EruM posted can be used by players if you're using certain mods. The "victory" sounds, for example, can be used in JA+ using the /amvictory emote. The "anger" sounds are usable anywhere (even in basejka) as /gloat (or at least a bind called "Gloat" in the Control menu), but they're still optional because the gloat function will default to using any "taunt" sounds you have if there is no anger sound present.
