Default help!!! radiant error

i just got a new computer, i installed jka and radiant, ran radiant to finish off a map i was making, and the 3d view has gone all weird, the brushes near the camera are all wire-frameish, and i cant see my map properly!

I'm not a mapper but I think radient 1.5 had problems with Vista. I know there were problems with some things. Check that master sticky for the thread called Battle of the Radients.

I have the same problem, but I don't mind it. Once or twice it showed all the textures properly, and the fps was horrible. This way, radiant runs much smoother.

The problem is that, whether or not you have an ATI card, you need to change the 'ATI cards with broken drivers' option. If it's on, turn it off. If it's off, turn it on. That should fix your problem.

Textures>Render quality>Trilinear. (It's probably set to wireframe atm.)

The ATI bugfix option is in preferences, just so you know.

No, it isn't set to wireframe. Brushes that aren't fully visible (i.e. one corner off the edge of the camera screen) go into wireframe mode. Everything else is fine.

Turning on the ATI bugfix worked, which is odd, because I'm using a stupid crappy Intel integrated chip, not an ATI card.

Thanks. Hope this works for aoi_ryuu as well.
