Request - Yukai
 

Hey, I'm Xaith (obviously) and this is my first forums request.

I need someone to make a certain sword for me, Yukai. I have some pictures (black and white, I'll leave the colors/certain features for the modder to decide, leave their mark if you will.)
I would LIKE it to be SOMEWHAT large, nothing bigger than the buster of course.

that sword isnt from lotr arc, lol, and urakai* dont use fancy swords at all...

Haha! Uruk sword! Haha!

Uruk-kai's swords are simple metal with a spike on the end, nothing more.

It looks similar granted, but its not the same sword.

…I thought he/she was going to request for Japanese Demons, called Yukai, but he/she's just requesting a sword…

Heh sorry for dissapointing you. By the way, HE, and i speak japanese, its where i got the name Yukai.

kk. I spent the last few hours working on it while my bro was having his turn at this comp. So far I've managed to make the blade, which was tricky for me but it turned out great. As far as the hilt goes, I'm a little confused on what it looks like? >< The blade is for now "skinned" with the actual image of it so it's kinda sloppy

Might take a little smoothing out but I think it looks cool already :)

Looks good. But like you said, it does look sloppy right now with the current texture.;) And maybe just play around with some smoothing groups, see if they could help.

Looking good so far! As for the hilt you really dont have to make anything fancy, though if you could do whats in the original picture that would be great. Just make sure it doesnt look like a texture-less shiny gray blob, heh.

Well, the prob is.. I don't know what the heck the hilt is? I can see the grip part fine but I don't understand what the the other parts are on it. I could try using the smaller swords hilt for the one I'm making tho. Up to u :P

Well, due to recent family issues I probaly won't be able to work much on it anymore... >_> I'll upload an md3 version of the file if someone wants to continue it...

Well, to be honest, I might be able to finish it if the events of next week turn out alright.... Depends on how thing come together and such..

Well, for the most part this seems to have been abandoned. Teh Blizzy, if you are not going to finish the project please post up your work so maybe someone else can finish, and thanks anyway.
