FF 7 Game Cloud's Ultima Weapon

now i have a problem... the textures

everybody known final fantasy 7 for psone and everybody known that ff7 is a great game, but the graphical side of it is pure shit compared to the newest games, so the textures from the game don't have any details on them but only simple colours...

i need some images of this sword (Ultima Weapon) to texturize this model
can anyone help me?... tnx in advance

I've already looked in internet for images but I haven't found anything about it that was detailed, only images tooken from the game itself

It may be that you have to come up with the texturing on this model on your own, considering the fact that they don't have any pictures of a modern version of this sword. A possible suggestion would be to look at the swords in Advent Children, and come up with a conceptual idea as to how it would look based on them.

Looks kinda like it, ya? You'll likely need to apply some kind of glass shader or something to give it that effect.

in ff7 game the blade of the sword is very particular: it change color if cloud's HP drop under a certain ammount, and the blade is transparent something like a cristal

to make it change color is too difficult i think, but is possible to do a transparent blade? maybe with the right shaders

i hope all my old attachments carry through

Is this not it? I havent played the games, but a quick ebay always comes up with some kind of replica sword for games and anime.

Edit: well, it seems that one is missing those stupid little protrusions on the sides, but otherwise, looks pretty much the same, cept of course the crystal part.

rofl, that same sword is on sale for 30 dollars somewhere else, and its not the same, just the same type of sword.

trust me my post is the best your going to find in short of porting the sword into a modeling program with the textures. Only person I've seen do that is Gir

it have metallic shader on the hilt and a gold shader on the blade, this shader is visible only with the right light direction -2nd screen-...

i've tried to make it change color like in psone game, but is too difficult:mad:). The blade in game is something like a big lightsaber blade with a white glow on it -1st screen-
