Everyone knows that if you download too many models, skins, or vehicles, that there will be an error and you cannot play the game. But I have a few ideas/questions about bypassing that.

1) Does this error appear with maps as well? Hilts?

2) If any of you have seen the Movie Battles 2 mod, you will know that it has a LOT of skins and models you can use, how did the creator(s) manage to do that without having too many of them?

3) Can the same be done with maps and vehicles?

4) How can I create my own Mod?

5) Are there any mods or files I can download that will at least add to the amount of vehicles models etc. I can have? Can I make one? How?

To #1:hilts; If you have too many hilts you wont get an error, some hilts just wont be displayed in the selection.
To #5:veheicles; there is a mod called 99 vehicles on JK3files but the page has just recently been messed up because it says INVALID FILE ID
To #4:modding; it really depends on what you want to make(skins, models, maps, etc). If you want to make skins I can tell you what I know.

I can make skins and maps I just was wondering about a total conversion mod such as JA+, Movie Battles 2, Clone Wars Mod, etc.

So how many hilts are possible before some aren't displayed?

JKA-Config-Maker, Jedi Knight 3 Downloads, Jedi Knight 3 Others This config maker might help you. You should ask someone who helped with JA+. I dont know bout the hilts but I had 4 packs of 20 10-20 hilts and a lot were missing form base JA

Mods like that use advanced code. If you want to make mods like JA+, learn code.

What coding would I need to learn? C-, C++, C#? Or something more perhaps?

Even if you learned coding, making a total conversion, or anything other than a mini-mod requires either a dedicated team, or years of practice. Since you have neither I suggest you start with something smaller.

Mapping is easy, along with skinning and saber modeling. Try one of those, first.

Note: When I said their easy, that means their easy to make one, just hard to make a good one. =P
