I'm trying to add textures of penguins to my map but when i go into the game it dosnt show them (and yes i put them in the texture folder) plz help

Maybe they aren't properly sized... watch out that the image you use as texture always has sizes like 128x128, 256x256, 512x512, 1024x1024 and so on, certainly also smaller than 128x128, but that wouldn't be advisable, because everything below that would be either very small or horribly stretched

And you have to put them in a .pk3 file.

and you know that the textures gotto be right placed in the pk3-file, huh?
This is a good set up:
penguintexture.pk3 [and the folders inside it ... ] textures/mytextures/penguin.jpg [baseline texture, with right size]
