Re: Project Zero It really isn't that hard to make texture for pulse glow just tone colors lesser for "off" and more color for "on" and I think that you don't need to uvwmap it again 'couse those textures doesn't look bad at all and I've never seen as accurate zero model than this. Sous model wasn't bad either but it just wasn't actual zero Quote:

Re: Project Zero Okay shield boomerang is throwable now (I had to add one more tag in it) and made little changes to it. I also put shaders for it and now it's ready Also that "prometheus" scythe is ready and harpuias blade from mmz series I also made model for Phantoms throwing star or what ever it is but I can't figure out where do you hold it and I'll make later kunai for Phantom too as for blaster and guns I'm not making them 'couse I'm not that good yet and they are pretty complicated (and I was supposed to take break from this thing :D) I think there might be enough weapons now. I'll just have to make those custom huds and menus and then it is ready I'm also going to make antother weapons pack but that is completely another story still this I'll promise to you: it's going to be completely different that you've seen before ;) and I think some of you might get good laugh of it also |
I desided to make different colored weapons for zero and only zero (z-saber, sboomerang, triplerod, chainrod and recoilrod) orange blue and yellow (each represents one chip from mmz games) and if it's possible I'll add effect to kata also (if you hit someone with orange (flame/fire) weapon he/she'll start to burn and with blue he/she'll freezes etc. and only to kata 'couse otherwise it's too superior to other weapons) So if someone knows is it possible please tell me I know it needs some coding skills to make this kind of effect and it wont be easy but I'd like to make these weapons as close to originals as I can |
No idea how you could do it like THAT. However you could just add a saber effect so when you hit someone it gives off little blasts of fire etc with no real change in gameplay, just the visuals. |
Well that would be enough I think maybe just make those weapons to make slightly more damage (maybe 25 % or less) can you do that kind of thing and did you actually DL that available version of this? I'd love to have some comments |
Would it be possible to make effects like electric, ice and fire on the blade those would be good for elemental weapons. I made those weapons already so tomorrow you'll get more screenies |

hm.. I"m awake, what'd I miss. *reads* I'll get on downloading the real version of the pack though, it seems impressive from the screenies, I've always just forgot to actually get it. And yeah, it'd be possible to make the effects on the blades if you wanted. Atleast as long as the blade is 'on' but you can make them non-turnoffable obviously. |
That's great. I tried to make those blade effects by shaders and new mesh but it didn't work out good enough partly it looked good but edges were just a mess. So now I've made those elemental weapons and I added loop sound for them also (burning, Electric and icy I found them from assets and edited them little) I just think that maybe I should add more green to that thunder weapon 'couse it actually wasn'tyellow also scythe and harpuias mmz weapon are ready and here are those pics. |
