Okay, sadly, I don't think the impact effects would work in MP, just giving you a heads up on that. Sorry 'bout that. I mean if you like them working in SP that'd be all well and good, but who actually plays SP, right? haharuhar. |

I, personally, think having all the Element sabers in one pack would be terror for anybody who has a bunch of other sword mods. I suggest, then, you should make a separate PK3 for each individual element. Same weapon, different element. It'd reduce the chance of having "too many sabers" (if you have more than a set amount of sabers, the default sabers will not load). And I thought we'd resolved the saber trail issue? I just want to know why you insist on having default saber trails, making it look so much less refined and more a 3-minute sab file job with sound code copy+pasted & modified from some other guy's sab file. I avoided the saber trails when you wanted help with stuff like that, yet I don't see why you chose to have them. There's no real way to change saber trails without changing all the saber trails in the game, though, so that's the only issue that can't be dealt with. |

I think that the saber trail for sabers without a white core looks just like the trail from MMZ. And how do you do what DemonCloud is proposing? |

Okay I'll put elementals in their own .pk3 and maybe I'll put also other weapons in separate .pk3 (mmz.pk3 mmx.pk3 etc..) and as for saber trail I already removed that gfx/effects/sabers folder so now it uses normal trail but I might add it in separate .pk3 and I'll also put that custom menu and hud in separate .pk3 now I started making weapons from original megaman series I found great ref. pics from megaman & bass game when you pick up every cd there is to find I also started collecting/writing megaman story that I'll add in separate .pk3 also (story from mm1-8 to mmx1-? and mmz1-4 and mmzx1-? so there will be huge info about megaman universe) |

I don't think it -is- progressing. To be honest, I've lost all hope in a Zero model. Only way we'd ever get one is if someone rigged it theirselves. I can't texture map worth crap, so there's no chance of me making it from that guy's other model. |
To be honest, I don't really care that much about a zero modeled character. I just want the recoil rods. I love the MMZ gba games and even MMZX, but the characters don't excite me. The weapons do. I would be interested in a Zero bot to bash around. |

Could you also make original megaman for this mod (I'll start doing it myself but I'm not that great in doing player models if I manage to do that then I'll do megaman X also) and I'll think about changing project name to project megaman or something 'couse there is weapons from almost every series Quote:

Lol, this "Project Zero" might just become x-buster for JKA (i could never get the x-buster mod for q3a to work for me >_>) I wisht there was something i could help with, but im not savvy in the way of modeling...i can just root from the sidelines, i guess ....go team... |
XSI is the way to go. I've thought about using Eclypse's tutorial to try and practice rig some models ripped from other games that I have. |

No, our only chance would be to replace the Blaster Pistol. Replacing the DEMP2 with the Buster wouldn't work, because Megaman does not always fire thunder shots. Besides, the way this is looking, we should have Zero's gun first. That'd work nicely for a Blaster Pistol replacement. |
You can always change the effects you know... And besides, if you did the blaster then it would be weak, even if the shots would be more acurate to the games. |

I say that all weapons should be replaced with new effect. They could have different colors to indicate which one they are. The the player could have all elemental effects. |
I meant in the earlier post that all weapons should be replaced with the buster shot. Each one could be a different element and have a colored section on the side denoting which effect it has. Ex: A blue bar on the side means ice, and that it replaced the demp. A red bar is fire, and replaced the rocket launcher. Sorry about the unclearness on the last post; I was hyped up on caffeine. |

Hainu makes all player models and I'll make weapons. I'll make all melee weapons before starting to make busters for different busters I'll just recolor them to represent other weapons (blue = bryar pistol, green = demp2, red = E-11 blaster rifle etc.) I'll have to think more about these colors and this thing would be for mega-buster (M-buster) and for x-buster as for zeros buster from mmz-series I'll only make one and that might replace bryar pistol |

maybe it's not necessary to change effects of weapon (except maybe bryar pistols) 'couse megaman shoots many kinds of projectiles (from needles to time stopper and from snakes to gravity manipulation) but maybe visual effects could be altered a little but not much |
I would think that the EMP gun would make a good Electric Spark, from MMX1 Think about it, he shoots an electric ball that splits on the wall, and his charge shot makes electricity shoot from around him. I dont know if you can change the EMP gun to make the primary split on contact with a wall, or make the secondary maybe just come from the gun (i dont know how scripting weapons works in JKA, but i assume it's not as versitile as it is in GMod for Half-Life 2). But yea those are my suggestions |
