Excellent! but I should do uvmapping more accurate before retexturing.

I'm using gmax and this script for export.
segmenting,rigging,hierarchy part is done,I think. I just can't .xsi export.
This is difficult unlike the .dff(GTA) export...

It really isn't that hard to make texture for pulse glow just tone colors lesser for "off" and more color for "on" and I think that you don't need to uvwmap it again 'couse those textures doesn't look bad at all and I've never seen as accurate zero model than this. Sous model wasn't bad either but it just wasn't actual zero

I haven't ever tried making humanoid model only weapons and one head that turned out to be horrible

Okay shield boomerang is throwable now (I had to add one more tag in it) and made little changes to it. I also put shaders for it and now it's ready

Also that "prometheus" scythe is ready and harpuias blade from mmz series

I also made model for Phantoms throwing star or what ever it is but I can't figure out where do you hold it and I'll make later kunai for Phantom too

as for blaster and guns I'm not making them 'couse I'm not that good yet and they are pretty complicated

(and I was supposed to take break from this thing :D)

I think there might be enough weapons now. I'll just have to make those custom huds and menus and then it is ready

I'm also going to make antother weapons pack but that is completely another story still this I'll promise to you: it's going to be completely different that you've seen before ;) and I think some of you might get good laugh of it also

I desided to make different colored weapons for zero and only zero (z-saber, sboomerang, triplerod, chainrod and recoilrod) orange blue and yellow (each represents one chip from mmz games) and if it's possible I'll add effect to kata also (if you hit someone with orange (flame/fire) weapon he/she'll start to burn and with blue he/she'll freezes etc. and only to kata 'couse otherwise it's too superior to other weapons)

So if someone knows is it possible please tell me I know it needs some coding skills to make this kind of effect and it wont be easy but I'd like to make these weapons as close to originals as I can

No idea how you could do it like THAT. However you could just add a saber effect so when you hit someone it gives off little blasts of fire etc with no real change in gameplay, just the visuals.

hm.. I"m awake, what'd I miss. *reads* I'll get on downloading the real version of the pack though, it seems impressive from the screenies, I've always just forgot to actually get it. And yeah, it'd be possible to make the effects on the blades if you wanted. Atleast as long as the blade is 'on' but you can make them non-turnoffable obviously.

That's great. I tried to make those blade effects by shaders and new mesh but it didn't work out good enough partly it looked good but edges were just a mess.

So now I've made those elemental weapons and I added loop sound for them also (burning, Electric and icy I found them from assets and edited them little) I just think that maybe I should add more green to that thunder weapon 'couse it actually wasn'tyellow

also scythe and harpuias mmz weapon are ready and here are those pics.

If nothing else the sheer amount of screen shots makes it far beyond impressive. I'd STILL suggest some work on the hilt textures including a shader for specular shine blah blah blah, but that's up to you. I personally can't see dynamic glow for another two weeks, I'm getting a new comp with a geforce 8800 which should be able to handle dynamic glow just fiiiine.

I think that shader for hilts is enough but I'll try to make other textures for hilt it's actually hard to make white look like metal

I'll try adding that hilt shader while I'll try to make those element weapons be more elemental

Would you try to make those hit effects for them (ice, fire and electric)

OK I just read the mm z thread, saw the whole kit and kaboodle, and am repealing my hilts with normal blades request. I love the recoil rods in the gba games and think that after your break BH86, that the model located at: Tonfa Saber, Jedi Knight 3 Downloads, Jedi Knight 3 Weapons might make an improvement to your JA versions. Sorry for getting this to you so late in the game.
P.S. The leviathan is currently my weapon of choice.

The link messed up, the hilts are listed alphabetically. Sinya's are obviously under S.

I'll check that tonfa saber but I'll have to make little changes to it 'couse it's for jk2 and I only have jk3 but I think it'll work and if it does I'll make that recoil rod more the way it's supposed to be

The Recoil Rod is also held the wrong way. I'm sure you went for functionality, but in reality we don't have those extended handles, and the player should hold the Recoil Rods as Zero does if you want accuracy. Without that bit of accuracy, you've damaged what was there.

And BH, he means the default saber trail. If you honestly MUST have a trail, then make it the sith sword trail.

I meant just plain saber blades without the mm z "glass like" blades. It doesn't matter though because the mm z blades are growing on me. Sorry for the triple post; I added things as they came to me.

How are the kunai coming along from the zx series? I think they, or the shuriken (giant throwing star), would be the hardest to set how the player holds them.

Yes I went for functionality and less clipping that is actually the main reason why I made that extended handle (the clipping) I made other version which is more accurate to original and maybe if I shorten that blade then it won't have that much clipping (amount of clipping is horrible at this point)

Model for shuriken is ready but I'm still thinking that how player holds it or maybe I'll put it as weapon replacement with kunai

as for blade effects I might delete that effects folder but I'm not putting sith sword trail for it seriously look at zero swinging his sword trail is almost like in sw (actually in japanese versions of mmx1-3 it also sounded like lightsaber)

and for plain saber blades: there is "mmx-saber" the original z-saber (I'll make two versions of it: one based on fanart and other from actual game)

I tried to make that custom hud but there are few problems
How can I put it up in left corner and it doesn't function well yet (it shows original hud as white)

Do you still have it so that the hilt/handle curves forward? In the gba game the blades rest on the forearm and extend forward, so I think these should too. (your v0.5 had the blade going up like a sword blade at a 90 degree angle to what the gba version is like)

Will we be able to use this online, or just on our computers?

Well I have every version of it that I've made but here is picture of that original recoil rod wielded by zero

And as you see those blades are longer towards elbow and shorter from hitting end but if I turn it around it won't have that much clipping

Has anyone seen Hainu? I'd like to know how is that zero model going

I added chrome shader to z-saber but I didn't like it, it was actually too shiny like mirror so I'll have to find other shader for it

In the gba game zero turns the weapon around, and then back when he attacks. Either that or the weapon extends forward when he attacks. Both are impossible in this game, so free reign! Do, please turn it backwards- or better yet, make both (offensive and defensive versions). I would love to use the normal version in my left hand and the backward version on the right. I saw a crystal shader somewhere, I'll post the url when I find it. Then you can ask the author to use it, if you want it.

In my opinion it extends forward but it doesn't matter
I think I'll just turn it around couse other has too many clipping issues and I don't like clipping (clipping=bad mod) and I believe that I don't need crystal shader but thanks anyway.

I made two "different" recoil rods other is backwards and other is well other side here are screenies

Zero is a guy! No, its not stupid. I asked the same thing when he started to flirt with Ciel.

I was going to look at the place you set for the wep to be held, and make a similar wep, BH 86. Remember the tonfa saber? What if the blade was along the outside of the guard? Tada! Defensive tonfa-saber is born! If anyone has a better name, The please tell me. BTW, the recoil rod looks erstaunlich!!!!! A german exchange student named Florian Brunger told me that it means awesome!!!!!!!!!!!!! About the clipping: I say tell people in the readme that it (zero version) is the accurate version, and that if they want to avoid clipping then they need to use the other.

Nah. I'll hate it mods'll hate it and everyone else might hate it so clipping=bad mod I might release it as independent mod but not with project zero

as for WIP of project zero: Hud is ready \o/ so now I'll make those menus totally customised like in escape yavin sp mod and finish those efw weapons that I've started making

I was thinking making omegas saber also (not zero form) 'couse in manga omega isn't as big as in game so his saber is also smaller (I was thinking this way earlier before reading manga and I thought that it would be way too big)

I'm thinking about making those phantoms giant shuriken and kunais as shooting weapons but I don't know is it possible to actually throw kunais or other weapon models as weapons? if it is possible then I was thinking about energy kunai as wookie weapon (that crossbow) and shuriken maybe as rocket launcher in that case

I'd need new animations for it also (as in ref pics where I got that kunai phantom actually swings his claws and those kunais start flying from those claw blades) although maybe normal saber throw would do

so there would be a lot of work to do in that case

other possibility would be to make them as melee weapons but I can't figure out where would player grip a weapon made completely of energy

From what I remember; the weapons are closer to the coherent light on halo than the focused light of which we normally think. Zero should be able to touch the energy as if it were solid.

No. If Zero could touch the energy without harming himself then would everyone else also and in that case it would be possible to zeros enemies to stop his energy blade (every weapon) also with just grapping it's blade

Why not try making it so only part of the energy can be touched, like a sort of hilt? This would mean that part of the blade can be touched, but thats only the part Zero holds, so the blade would still act as intangible energy.

BH, he means the MMZ weapon. When held still it can probably touched just like any other blade, but like a real blade, if swing with enough force it can cut something in two. Did you not notice part of the MMZ intro, where Zero's sword -stood- on it's own energy blade?

in jk jo I've seen this one mod that replaces briar pistol with several different throwing knives and shurikens

That is a great idea for the chain rod. If you, or anyone who reads this, can make the grappeling hook deal damage that would add to authenticity of the mod. Then you could have TWO sabers. About my touching the blade comment... I meant that he could touch the flat of the blade. Of course he can't touch the sharp part. You underestimate my vast intellect.
