Oh, there's nothing dynamic about that glow, it's just a simple photoshop blending option if I'm not mistaken, or it's an airbrushed effect. Cool idea though, making a skin for it this early in the game.
ik to really make it glow it needs the dynamic glow shader but for that to work it needs a base glow skined on like this for ex from the shadow trooper
Spoiler:
i just need a little help makeing the glow for my shader
Well, I saw everyone else making a board so I figured I would too, turned out pretty well. Feel free to use it for anything you like, I'd be honored of course.
Well, I dont know anything about animation stances or frames, nor even claim to, but while I was working on one of my skins, I came across this in the sequences part of ModView. I hope it helps...
Spoiler:
I didn't want you to think I forgot about this. I tested out this particular frame, and there are a few issues. Firstly, the single saber points straight up, rather than down, or back. Secondly, the back foot clips completely through the board. Otherwise I certainly would have considered using it. As it is, I'm not happy with the current frame, and will only use it if I can't find anything better. If anyone has any other suggestions, I'm more than happy to try them out.
Looks pretty good actually. Is there going to be a version that doesn't replace the swoop?
Yes. I'm going to include it in a separate PK3, as if I use all the skins I'm going to have it'll be a hefty vehicle count.

Oh it sinks...
FYI guys, new "stance" -- tell me if you like it better:
I chose that one because it seems to work well with all three saber types. Plus, with dual sabers, it looks wicked. As for attack anims, I'm something at a loss. If anyone wants to look into coming up with some, let me know. Also, I'm looking for some reliable beta testers. This means the kind that check for bugs/errors/ideas, not the ones that simply play with it while screaming 'WHEE IM FLYING!!!!'.
Also, I forgot to mention, anyone wanting dynamic glow on their board needs to submit me a glow map. If you don't know how to make one, let me know, or look at post 43.
I think that stance looks really good. I dont know if this is possible, but is there a way to center his feet on the board and still have the board fly straight? I think it would look better if his feet were, well on the board you are using in that pic, there are some darker gray areas that I think is where his feet should be located...
It has been said that a man's life is measured by the amount of achievements he has fulfilled. I disagree. It is measured not by his achievements, but by the achievements fulfilled by those he has taught.
I'd have to rotate the driver tag. I could do it, but it would slightly alter the combat anims (they'd be off-kilter slightly). I can try it and see how it looks. I need to move the tag up a bit anyway.
