When riding on a swoop, if there is another person on a swoop riding next to you, hold down jump and the strafe key that moves you in their direction (helps to start holding down strafe before jump). If you come whithin range of them, you'll jump off your swoop, land on their shoulders, kick'em off, and start riding the swoop you just jumped on.

Well I assume it's possible, although I may have overwritten the animation for it. I still need to consolidate the anims anyway, though. As it is, I accidentally copied over some of the tauntaun rider anims.
guys look what i found! its the back to the future hoverboard that Marty Mcfly flew in BTTF2! It seems like this model was made perfectly for this!
If someone were to make this they would rock like a sock at two o'clock.
I was going to try, then randomly post it here without saying anything. Heh.
As for hijakcing, I know there are animations for it, but I don't know if they were ever used. I've never seen it done in game, have no clue how to do it.
EDIT: Oh.
EDIT EDIT: I don't think hijacking would work, since the animations are for sitting on a mount (like a swoop or taun taun), not for standing on a board. It may work, but would look very weird.

I know it's possible, I've done it countless times. I even submitted a PotD of it part-way through where it looks like you're flying over the swoop w/ the caption "Look ma, no hands!"

Oh, there's nothing dynamic about that glow, it's just a simple photoshop blending option if I'm not mistaken, or it's an airbrushed effect. Cool idea though, making a skin for it this early in the game.
For those interested in seeing how it works during SP. It only shows two of the variants in this clip, just by random dumb luck, but there are currently 5 skin variants I have slated to show up during SP (and growing). Ignore the amazingness that is fraps recording winamp.
