| Hello there! well most of you probably know this project already... i started it several months ago. I will start this topic on all the forums i am active in, so certain people will hear this for the third time, sry for that ![]() Well you guessed it right.. this will be a Siege Map placed on the Invisible Hand (Grievous' ship in Revenge of the Sith) It will contain everything.. starting from the hangar, the elevator, the green control room, up to the kickass Observation Deck in which Obi Wan, Anakin and Dooku have this amazing fight I try to let everything look like it is in the movie, I have to make certain compromises, though ![]() At the moment i am still not sure if the Spacebattle will be part of the actual siege map... the problems are: 1. fps 2. objectives 3. no class differneces while flying... etc but there will be a spacebattle (ffa/tffa), too. okay thats enough.. you probably want to see some pics ![]() here we go... | Looks very great, you have serious skill. Id love that more as a TFFA map then a siege though, and thats a bigger audiance. Also, i can imaging how horrid the FPS must be. It looks great and all, but i cant see it working practicly. |

| You need to give him a chance to finish it and optimise it first. ![]() I do agree with the space battle, though. That will have a drastic impact on performance, no matter how well it's smoothed out. I think it may be better to leave that out and let other games do flying stuff, since Jedi Academy's flight is just "bleh".

| I think you should leave the flying part in, but I agree that a ton of ships will slow it down. So heres my ideas: #1 make the respawn time on the ships in the hanger really long, that way it'll be harder to get o ton of ships in the air. #2 Only have ships flying in the first stage of the seige, you can make the objective to shoot the force field and land a few ships in there. After that your stuck inside the invisible hand because the doors closed on the hangers.

| Lol, indeed it does, and so does this map. Looking pretty awesome, but I hope you find someway in hell to incorporate the space battles and not stab our FPS to bits. It looks great though, and I'm seeing some promise... (edit) I noticed how you pointed out you had 103fps!

| sweat i always love a good space map as i enjoy the flying an ja mind u its not perfect but its a nice change pluse its fun fly over some one and blast them to bits as they try and run away
