Yep, you should be able to. Otherwise you can eyeball it. I do that a lot with models that aren't symmetrical.

In md3view, when I open the model, the textures are on it. But, when I import the skin, it says it can't find the textures. And they are 512X512, and jpg's

Remove the spaces and the quotes. Also change the extensions to TGA. It won't look for a targa file, don't worry.

That worked. Now, how do you make the textures two sided? It doesn't look very good like this: You can see through the front of the handle to the back of the handle.
