Mods!!
 
simply:

*i want to modify assets such as...hm....in-game menu for example....how do i make it so someone gets it and just needs to put in base...not replace actual modified assets.

*how do i use idleinback?

*sumtin else i completely forgot....dont lock teh thread yet, i might remember :(

Put it in a Pk3.

Why would I lock the thread?
idleinback (I think) is used in the .sab of your saber/sword.

Also, moved to modding and editing, as it pertains to making a mod.

Many mods lock a topic once its been resolved. He might be afraid of the other questions being resolved before he can ask his other question.

JK series mods have never really been ones to do that. It's kind of silly anyway, for the reason you described.

It more happens on single forums where once you post in a topic it shoots back to the top of the list, to avoid seeing a thread again that got resolved last year.

OH! remembered
most of teh time, when i edit a jpg for my FFVII or misc, and save it, it doesnt load in-game...it sez, WARNING: REQUESTED FEATURE WAS OMITTED AT COMPILE TIME
so, ya, that's it, if i solve these two problems, im good to go

Only bad thing about using idleinback in your .sab file (I finally figured what you guys said a few months ago) you don't get to use holsters. Sux 8)

Right on that sword thing... That's answered... I give you the other two questions

First easiest... The compile doesn't load because of one reason... If you used photoshop you MAY NOT SELECT PROGRESSIVE to start with... This means the JPG is checked as many time as you gave in... What means loaded in so many turns... Now if you select standard it's best to take quality 10 or lower... Sometimes the JPG becomes to big for the game standards to read... I had that problem once to...

Okay that's solved... Now the PK3 problem... Use packscape... Open a copy of Assets1... Put all stuff you made into it in place of the stuff that is in... MUST HAVE THE SAME NAME... Delete all things you don't need and you are done... Save it underneath some name like TsengsStuff or something and save it as PK3 with Packscape...
