Saber Styles

Well we all know about the other 2 saber styles that seem to not be able to use, I mean, I like all the styles but over time gets dull to always use them and I though if there is way to be able to use them.

What Im trying to explain is, if there is a way I can enable either Desannīs or Tavionīs Saber style or both too 1 or many others sabers of mine in any Server I play in much like overwriting sabers.

I would appeciate if anyone could tell me how.
:deal:

Re: Saber Styles

Well, all my friend did was edit the saber file , and extract the styles from JKA, so you could just take the saber file from this saber and attach it to any saber, I think. ^^

It seems good, but does this work in any server I play in or just in a few?
If it works on any server then Iīll PM you right away.

Re: Saber Styles

It'll only work in a server which has the hilts installed.

Modifying the base hilts is a no-no - for a start, you'll likely get kicked from a lot of servers due to a data mismatch (hax prevention, ftw), and even if it lets you on, you'll have a pretty big advantage over everyone else.

Wouldn't want to cheat now, would ya?

Re: Saber Styles

yeah but dueling disables these styles wheather you have them or not, so its no big deal unless you play on a gay FFA server where people just run around flingin crap at eachother like most JA+ servers.

No, my ideia is not to cheat just have a different style to play with, you know, getting away from the same old things not to mention it would be fun.

But Im thinking here if I put all commands, if I acttually knew all of them, in the .sab file and send it to my server admin too add it to the server I play in, it would able me to play with those style, right?

Re: Saber Styles

Indeed.

Although I should probably mention that the special styles are imbalanced against the normal ones, but what the hey - might keep those using the normal styles on their toes.

God knows a lot of people could use a bit of a shake-up. And use of the Desann style should single-handedly raise the popularity of the medium stance . :p
