Being able to use that thing in a space battle with stats accurate to the original, would probably be equivalent to the counter-terrorist team in CounterStrike having a Bruce Willis NPC to help them out.
The game wouldn't be unbalanced - this thing would erase the entire concept of balance.
Just out of curiosity - why does that thing need repulsorlift vents? It's repulsive enough without them. Doesn't look like it's very useful either.
I seriously doubt any of the existing flight maps, with the possible exception of Battle Over Coruscant, have enough room for you to manuever such a clunky vehicle, doubly so when you consider the shortcomings of JKA's flight system.
...
Wow, aren't I just a nexus of positivity today?
The only starfighter "tactic" I've ever heard being used with this thing was scaring the crap out of Leonia Tavira by threatening to ram it throught the bridge of her Star Destroyer in I, Jedi
How about making it a map instead. If someone makes the Sun Crusher a vehicle, then someone will make the Death Star or a Star Destroyer also. That would be retarded.Imagine the Death Star in a dog fight.
Imagining a Death Star vehicle in this game at all is impossible.
JKA just can't handle a vehicle model of that size, and even if it could, how do you intend to fly it anywhere? - The game has a max grid size of 65535x65535x65535 for maps, and as far as I'm aware a realistically-scaled Death Star would take up the entire grid itself.
You'd need to have every single JKA skin/model that exists in the modelscale.cfg file, and you'd need them set to 0.000000000000000000001%, which is impossible since there's actually a minimum limit on how small you can make them - and that limit is about 0.65 or something.
