I was planning on modelling the Simpsons' house, mainly because I will have to do something similar for my Lightwave's final, but I doubt I will be modelling this anytime soon, so do not get your hopes up.

Lol, that would be a good one, could you use 3ds Max for that?? i have no idea honestly... it would be good nonetheless, the simpsons house is a classic scene, what would rock tohugh is if you could leave the house and go walking around springfield :P

That would be possible...it would GREATLY increase the filesize though if you wanted everything to be explorable and detailed...

true, but wouldnt it be cool? tho, springfield is so out of wack, things are changed for different episodes, once the nuclear power plant was directly behind evergreen terace :P.

I dunno if they have any pictures or map layouts of this but I know in the XBOX game Simpsons: Hit and Run, you drive all over town, so maybe that could help set in stone the layout of springfield.

Making the entire Springfield is impossble, unless you want it tiny. GTK Radiant only supports maps up to 65000x65000 units.

Of course, making the key areas and situating them close together would be cool. I might dig up my ancient copy of Virtual Springfield and map some places, too. Sounds like fun. :)

Well, I could make a few streets and place some locations around them, but it wouldn't be the same layout as in the episodes.

Like I already commented, JK3 maps don't have enough room for all that.

Right now I'm also working on my first release map with a buddy of mine, but I can probably fit in a Springfield map. Heck, it's not like I'd be doing the Invisible Hand or something really complex like that :lol: .

If I have time, I'll do it.

i guess no one knwos, but i am about 90% done springfield, Moes tavern, Kwik-e-mart, krusty burger, church, and arcade. I didnt want to post much cause i am lazy and take me forever to finish anything, i want to get it done soon, but soon could be like a week, could be a month... dont know... depends on how busy i am and what i can think to add
